Learn more about the worst genocide in Europe after WW2
“Understanding Srebrenica Genocide” is a day visit to Srebrenica from Sarajevo. During the visit, we will share with you all the relative information regarding the Srebrenica Genocide and see the most important facilities in Potocari (Srebrenica) where these terrible crimes against humanity took place.
The word „genocide“ is only letters on the paper until you actually experience it. The people of Srebrenica, unfortunately, on 11th of July experienced ethnical clensing, the worst genocide since the end of Second World War.
In order to understand the terrible war crimes that happened in small town of Srebrenica in the eastern part of Bosnia, you should see with your own eyes the Potocari Memorial in Srebrenica and more than 8000 graves of 8372 victims still testifying the brutal killing of innocent civilian people, including women and children.
Starting from Sarajevo, we will arrive at Srebrenica in order to visit mentioned facilities, see authentic videos and photos that will certainly go beyond everything you know or saw regarding war atrocities. Especially important will be the stories you will hear from Srebrenica genocide survivor at Potocari Memorial Complex.
After visit to the Memorial and Graveyards, we will continue to Srebrenica town for a lunch, and later on come back to Sarajevo.
