Mostar and Bella Herzegovina Tour

Around an hour driving from Sarajevo we will make our first stop in charming town of Konjic. Konjic is famous for its Ottoman-era bridge still being an iconic landmark of this town. Also, the city is known for its woodcarving as well as beautiful scenaryes. Here, on the bank of beautiful, emerald green river Neretva, we will make a break for a coffee, short walk  or some photo shooting, depending on your choise. 

Our next stop is Village Studenci  at the place where the river Trebizat creates a waterfall 28 meters high and a beautiful natural amphitheater 120 meters wide – Kravice Waterfalls. It is definately one of the most beautiful and most visited waterfalls in the Balkans where you can enjoy untouched nature as well as swimming in summer time. 

After enjoying Kravice Waterfalls, we continue towards unique, Medieval-Ottoman village – Pocitelj Village. Constructued of stone in 15th century, now it represents a real architectural miracle and an amizing mixture of medieval fort and derfenders walls as well as Ottoman-era buildings such as Hadzi Ali’s Mosque, Madrasa, Hamam and others. A village where people still live, cultivate granades, mandarines and similar tropical fruits, will certainly be a magical comeback to medieval ages as we discover all of its interesting gems. 

Now it is time do discover one the most unique places in the Balkans – Blagaj. Blagaj Village is known for its Derwish Tekke – a monestary of the Derwishs where they have been performing their religious rituals since 15th century until these days. There are so many legends and stories related to the Tekke which make this place very misterious and magical. The Tekke is located under a 240 meter cliff righ next to the Spring of River of River Buna which, besides making it so magical, makes it a very peaceful place.  It is truly “a place where you will find peace of mind”.

Last, but not least, it is time for discovering beautiful Mostar – historic and cultural center of Herzegovina region. In Mostar we will have a tour in the Old Town visiting the most prominent monuments of Mostar. The most important one is, certainly, UNESCO based Old Bridge of Mostar. It is still a very strong symbol of this city, and its history will certainly amaze you.  Besides the Old Bridge, we will walk through Kujundziluk – the Old Bazzar, see Crooked Bridge, Kosqi Mehmed-pasa Mosque and old Turkish Hamam. After Mostar tour, you will have some free time to wonder around magic-like cobbled streets of Mostar.
